1. The short version
This page is the agreement between you (the restaurant owner, operator or staff member using Dinegram) and us (Dinegram, the platform maintained by Fluidichydra). By creating an account or letting a guest scan one of your Dinegram QR codes, you are telling us you accept these terms.
We try to write these terms the way we would explain them across a table. If anything here reads more like a lawyer than a human, please write to us — we would rather rewrite the sentence than hide behind it.
2. Your account
You need to be at least 18 to open a Dinegram account. When you sign up, you promise that the business details you enter are accurate and that you are authorised to represent the restaurant.
You are responsible for everything that happens under your login — including any staff logins you create. Please pick a strong password, and don't share it in a WhatsApp group.
If you spot suspicious activity on your account, email us at support@dinegram.com straight away and we will help you lock it down.
3. How you can (and can't) use Dinegram
You can use Dinegram to run any legitimate food-and-beverage business: cafes, restaurants, bakeries, hotels, cloud kitchens, food trucks, and anything else where a menu meets a hungry guest.
You may not use Dinegram to sell illegal products, run misleading promotions, spam customers, scrape our platform, resell our infrastructure as your own, or attempt to reverse-engineer our code.
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that put our other customers, our infrastructure, or their own guests at risk.
4. Plans, billing and refunds
Dinegram offers a free trial and three paid plans: Starter, Main Course and Chef's Table. Current pricing is shown on our pricing page, in your local currency where possible.
Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly, in advance. If you cancel, your plan runs until the end of the billing period you have already paid for — we don't pro-rate mid-cycle refunds, but you keep everything you paid for until it expires.
If something goes seriously wrong on our side and we can't make it right, we will refund you. Just write to us and explain what happened.
5. Your data belongs to you
Everything you upload — menus, photos, order history, customer contacts you have chosen to store — belongs to you. We hold it for you and use it only to run the service for your restaurant.
You can export your data at any time from your dashboard. If you close your account, we hold your data for 30 days in case you change your mind, then remove it from our production systems.
The details of what we collect and how we protect it live in our Privacy Policy.
6. Your guests are still your guests
When a guest orders through Dinegram, they are ordering from your restaurant, not from us. You remain responsible for the quality of the food, the accuracy of the menu, the correctness of tax and pricing, and any allergen or dietary information you display.
We give you the tools to get this right; we can't cook the biryani for you.
7. Uptime and honest expectations
We work hard to keep Dinegram running fast and reliably, 24 hours a day. We use redundant infrastructure, automated backups, and a real on-call rotation.
That said, no online service is up 100% of the time. We aim for 99.9% monthly uptime. If we ever fall meaningfully short, we will tell you what happened and what we changed to prevent it.
8. Changes to the service or these terms
Dinegram is a living product. We add features often, retire underused ones occasionally, and improve things in the background almost every week. When a change materially affects how you use Dinegram, we will let you know inside the app or by email.
If we change these terms, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Continuing to use Dinegram after that counts as accepting the updated terms.
9. Limits of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Dinegram is provided 'as is'. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost revenue, lost data, lost reputation) arising from your use of the platform.
Our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the amount you have paid us during that period. If you are on the free plan, that cap is your equivalent monthly Starter fee.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute we can't resolve over a friendly email will be settled in the courts of Dubai.
If you are contracting with us from India, either party may instead choose the courts of Kerala, whichever is closer to home for you.
11. Getting in touch
Questions about these terms, or anything else, go to legal@dinegram.com. We usually reply within one working day, often faster.
